Christmas Cards and Wishlist

Note: since i lost my job earlier this year I will not be able to buy anything for anyone. But I will still send cards. And if you would like a 'digital gift' (i.e. Wallpaper) from me please tell me what your favorite Movie/TV show or Actor/Actress is and I will make one for you 
Cards: if you would like to get a card from me this Christmas please let me know. just note me with your full name and your address. If you live outside of the United States please include your country as well, by December 15th
if you think you can grant one of my wishes please note me saying you can or email me (I have 3 email addresses, one for Hotmail, one for Yahoo! and one for AIM)
here are my wishes, in no particular order (I only have 5 this year).......
1.) Original artwork from people I watch on here to hang up in my room or a print from my wishlist
2.) 550-1000 piece puzzles with animals on it (wild cats, baby animals, or horses)
3.) The Buried Pyramid by Jane Lindskold
4.) any Hellboy comic by Mike Mignola
5.) a book about the gods of Greece
Step One
Make a journal post. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, or link to this post so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two
Surf around your friends list [on DA] to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out; it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish and it might come true. Give and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

Thrown from a truck

Ok so here is how my week went from the 16th up until now……….
I was so happy that I didn't have to watch my nephews at all this week that on Monday I layed out in the backyard to get some sun. I did the same thing Tuesday afternoon as well. Tuesday evening my friend Sarah ( budda653's sister) called and said that she was having some people over later that night. My friend Katie, along with Sarah and my ex-boyfriends' sister Amanda came and picked me up. We went back to Sarah and Cameron's house to start the party
we all got a little bit drunk a couple hours later. The party was dieing down a bit and not very many people were left. Even though I was a bit tipsy, 2 of the guys and I helped Amanda walk back home. I pushed her up through her bedroom window. Then the guys and I walked back to the house. Sarah went a couple houses down the street for awhile to Brianna's house and I was stuck in the house with all the guys. Needless to say I felt a bit awkward now, but we had fun throwing pretzels and some other things at each other.
We all woke up I think at 1p.m. or so Three of the guys, Katie, Sarah and I went to the store in Sarah's truck. The three of us girls were in the cab while the guys layed down in the bed of the truck. We took a dirt road on our way back from the store. The three of us were joking about how it felt like we should be on 'That 70's Show' and were talking about which character were like or something. We hit a pot-hole or something in the road. The passenger side door opened, I reached my arm out to grab it (without moving my body) but the door was too far open for me to grab.
Next thing I knew when we turned, I went out of the truck and started to roll/bounce across the road. I believe either my right shoulder or my head hit the ground first (I can't remember b/c it all went by so fast). To help myself stop from rolling into the ditch I put my hands down each time I turned over. When I had finally stopped I heard one of the guys yell "GET OUT OF THE TRUCK!" I opened my left eye a bit and saw that the truck went into the ditch on the opposite side of the road and they were coming over to me, and closed my eyes again. There was a guy and girl that were coming down the road and saw everything that had happened. I don't remember who turned me over but when I was, the girl (her name was Carmen) had put my head on her lap. My head, legs and arms hurt so much as I lay there. I kept moving my legs, toes and fingers as much as I could so that I didn't lose any feeling in them. I also asked one of the guys to rub my fingers on my right hand b/c they kept "locking up" on me when I did it. Someone went up to the gas station that wasn't too far away and got a bag of ice. As I lay there with my head on Carmen's lap the hot sun was beating down on me. It hurt my legs and arms so much that Carmen told the guys to take off their shirts and cover me up with them. After awhile I still couldn't bear to be in the sun, so since I could move my legs a bit I asked someone to move me over into the shade on the other side of the road. The shirts were layed down so that I could lay on them.
Carmen dialed my sister's phone number for me when I gave it to her, she handed me her phone. There was no answer. After I asked what town we were in I called my mom. At first I was going to call the work number but for some reason couldn't remember it, so I called her cell phone. She picked up, I told her what happened. She asked where we were and I handed the phone to Carmen so that she could tell her. Carmen's mom called, she told her happened and her mom wanted to talk to me. She started to ask me basic questions. So as I lie there with my friends and Carmen around me, several cars passed by without even stopping. Finally after someone that I think Sarah knew came by with his tow-truck a lady had stopped and asked if we needed any help. They said no and that my mom was on her way. Then another car came by and stopped to help. The guy was on his way home from work, and turned out that he was also a part-time paramedic. He checked me over and held my head still until my mom and the ambulance came. I refused to be transported in the ambulance, so since I didn't have any life threatening injuries the ambulance driver and Police Officer said that it would be all right that my mom take me. So with the help of the driver and the Cop I was walked over to my mom's car. Sarah and Katie went with us to the hospital.
When we got there, Katie and Sarah got a wheelchair and took me inside while my mom parked the car. When we got down to the emergency room the song that was playing on the speakers was "Bad Day" by Daniel Powter. I said "gee what a great song to play today" (in a sarcastic voice), "I like this song and all but right now I just want to shoot the damn speakers". Someone came and picked up my friends while my mom and I were in the back waiting to see the doctor. My mom went to another area to call my sister b/c she couldn't get any reception in the room. While she was out the doctor came and I thought I felt my cheeks getting red. The doctor was so good looking that the first thing that came to my mind was "holy crap! I have my very own McDreamy" lol. And while the nurse was getting thing setup to start to clean me up two more women entered the room. Even though they looked nothing like them I was like "omg it's Christina, Izzie and Meredith" lol
So after 3-hours of being in the hospital and finally bandaged up mom took me to Taco-Bell for dinner. At first I thought we were gonna go through the drive-thru so I said "can we go inside?" she said yeah. She asked me what I wanted when we got inside, I said "it doesn't matter, get me anything". When our order was ready she came over to the table where I sat and gave me my food. The first thing she down in front of me was a hard shell taco. I stared at it and then looked at her and said "are you nuts? I can't chew this right now". My head was still throbbing and when I moved my jaw the right side of my head. So my mom gave me the other half of my dinner which was one of the crunch wraps (it was much easier for me to chew, even though I had to chew on my left side). When we were done we went to Sarah's house to pick up my bag that I left there. After that we went to CVS to get my medicine, then went back home. While I sat and watched a re-run of "Diagnosis Murder" she was detangling my hair.
Thursday the 20th in the morning mom woke me up to give me my pill. I was so stiff and sore that I could barely sit up. Since I could barely move my right arm still by Saturday my mom helped me wash myself (how embarrassing is that, I'm 22 and my mom is giving me a bath). I could finally straighten out my arm all the way on I think Monday or Tuesday. So on I believe Thursday I was finally able to take a bath myself my wounds are healing up pretty good now. Down below is a list my injuries…………………………

Three scratches on my head (only one needed staples, 3 of them) <--- got them taken out on the 24th
